On April 22, 2008 I was fired from the position of Chair of the Windsor Citizen Crime Prevention Committee, I enjoyed what we did as a Committee for the Community. After 6 years the fight continues, the City of Windsor was successful in getting my motion to compel them to provide undertakings from the examination of Terry Knight/Lepain on March 25, 2014 put off until Dec 8, 2014. Some interesting and surprising things were revealed in the examination, that no City of Windsor Employee had filed any complaints against me as indicated in the Windsor Star by Mayor Francis, George Wilkki, Alan Halberstadt and Bill Marra. Also that it was Anorio Colucci (CFO of Windsor) that approached Terry Knight/Lepain on or about April 16, 2008 to inquire about me as Chair of the Committee. It was also confirmed by Terry Knight/Lepain that she hadn’t had any contact with Councilor Bill Marra, why is this important, because if Terry Knight/Lepain did not speak to Bill Marra, then were did Bill Marra get his information, to be able to make the assertions that he did in the Windsor Star along with Alan Halberstadt, Mayor Francis, and George Wilkki. I will state again for the Public Record, I did not do what Terry Knight/Lepain has accused me of, the allegations are 100% false, Terry Knight/Lepain has lied. So why didn’t Bill Marra and Alan Halberstadt (who I considered friends) confront me when they were told the stories about me, it’s simple, they knew at the time, the stories weren’t true and if they came to me, then they knew they would have to confront Anorio Colucci, Diane Sibley/Bertolin, and Terry Knight/Lepain about the accusations and that they would have to follow the City of Windsor’s harassment Procedures and do an investigation. Why didn’t Bill Marra want an investigation ? I believe there is a couple of reasons; 1) Bill Marra allowed Diane Sibley/Bertolin to use W.C.C.P.C. budget money to fill a vacant Supervisor of Compliance and Enforcement contrary to the Council Resolution 279/2007 from late 2007 untill 2010 that would be $251,896.00 that was to be used for running and educating Windsor Residents about W.C.C.P.C. Programs. 2) Diane Sibley/Bertolin was doing an internal review of Friends of W.C.C.P.C. looking for financial indiscretions, what I believe she found was issues on the account from the previous Committee Co-ordinator Yvonne Plumb and Bill Marra didn’t want that getting out. 3) Why did Bill Marra follow Diane Sibley/Bertolin like a little puppy on the Windsor Citizen Crime Prevention issues ? I have lost all respect for Bill Marra and Alan Halberstadt, I will have my day in Court. John Middleton Candidate Ward 5 P.S. Why does Diane Sibley/Bertolin have so many Elected and Administrative people so scared, that it takes employee’s to file grievances so that George King of McTague Law Firm has to be called in to investigate all types of improprieties, during that investigation it’s discovered that Diane Sibley/Bertolin was having an affair with one of her By-Law enforcement officers Michael Desjardins, who she fired beca...use of a supposed mix up of some claimed expenses that he had submitted while attending an out of Town training course, when he had recently had broken it off with Diane Sibley/Bertolin.
