On April 24, 1915, exactly 99 years ago, the Armenian genocide - TopicsExpress

On April 24, 1915, exactly 99 years ago, the Armenian genocide began with the attempt of destruction of the entire intellectual class of Armenians. We have lost literary geniuses like Varujan and Siamanto and brilliant lawyers (my inspirations) like Krikor Zohrab. I saw Turkish-Canadians today completely forget what it means to be a canadian and promote neo-nazism. While Armenians were protesting for truth and justice, Turks were promoting Neo-Nazism. They were dancing and celebrating the 1.5 million Armenians who perished. They had posters about tragedies and murders, yet they were celebrating those. REMINDER: Canada actually advocates human rights and the truth. This country has condemned the first genocide of the 20th century and I know they will do so. Justice is always served, one way or another. Also, I have seen many pictures around saying Never forgive or forget 1915. I am ready to forgive when Turkeys government apologizes for every single brutally murdered Armenian. I will forgive once I will be able to go to Dikranagerd and Marash without harassment and be able to call it my ancestral home. My ancestors had to eat grass to survive and go through an unimaginable inhumane suffering and I will not rest until justice is served. I promised that we will get justice as long as we dont lose hope.
