On August 11 the Public Journalism Club (PJC) summarized the results of the open call for its “Exchange of Painters” project. Four applications for participation were reviewed and the team of young painters under the mentorship of Gagik Charchyan, the head of the Drawing Studio at the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex’s High School of Fine Art, was selected to represent Armenia in the project. The group of young painters from Turkey is also known. It will be led by mentor Serdar Yilmaz, who is currently an Associate Professor at the Fine Arts Department of Marmara University of Istanbul. The project will start on September 1, 2014.
