On August 15, 2014 I drove from Miami to Daytona Beach to meet with up with a cancer survivor by the name of Britt b.k.a. CoCo Nicole and her Mother Teresa Cinke Crawford for the first time. Teresa Crawford, reached out to me on Facebook and told me about her daughter battle with cancer. After reading Teresa powerful message in my inbox, I immediately connected with Teresa and Britt story because my mother went through a similar battle with cancer and won. I remember when my mother broke the news to me about having cancer it broke my heart, as soon as we hung up the phone I broke down and cried. I called my Brother Johnny over the phone sharing the bad news and he said, “Lil’ bra all you can do is pray for the best.” And that’s exactly what I did. Now my mother is going on a couple years now cancer free which is a blessing. GOD IS GREAT because he blessed me with an opportunity to meet a very inspirational young lady on her birthday thats inspiring people all around the world going through the same battle with cancer to be strong and never stop fighting which I think is awesome.
