On August 24th the Endeavor Center will be having their annual Back to School Extravaganza. This event allows children to get the necessary back to school items they need. Last year their goal was to serve 250 families...and ended up serving 275! Without this event many children would have either went without or in many cases their teacher would have purchased these items out of their own pocket. I dont know about you...but I dont like either of those options. The Endeavor Center is able to do this through the generous donations of people who are willing to make a difference in the lives of others. They are in need of new: Backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, colored pencils, folders, notebooks, pencil boxes, rulers, glue bottles, glue sticks, erasers, scissors, highlighters, binders. They will accept monetary donations as well. Items can be dropped off at the Endeavor Center prior to the event. Just think of the # of kids that could be served if everyone just pitched in a little?
