On August 9, 2001, I had a job interview at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th Floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The interview went well, and a second interview was tentatively scheduled for August 13th. A time was not set for the interview. On the 13th, I called Cantor to ask when my interview would be, and was told that my contact was really busy and he would call me back later. At the same time, another company was looking to hire me, and I decided to take the job at Breda Transportation on 38th St. and Madison Ave. If I had decided to wait for my contact at Cantor to call me back, and taken the job, I would have been at work at 8 am in the north tower on 9/11. Instead, I watched the days events unfold from my office window in midtown.
