On Behalf of Nauru Utilities Corporation Job Vacancy- Tank Farm- Labour operator Vacancy: x 2 Reports to: Terminal Operations Supervisor Location: Nauru Fuel Tank Farm Function/ Department: Tank Farm Operations F/N Salary: $189.15 base salary plus paid overtime. Position Purpose The position is fully responsible for all housekeeping within the Tank Farm Boundary, and along the entire pipelines facility. Housekeeping means, the facility cleanliness, by ensuring grasses/weeds are removed and oil and fuel waste is disposed and worked off to standard procedures. Qualifications and Competencies Required · Year 10 School certificate · Achieve Pass Mark on Basic Tank Farm Safety & Operations Training · 2 years oil Industry experience · Can be able to read and write short reports Principal Accountabilities: 1. Keep Tank farm clean of all oil waste 2. Dispose all fuel and oil waste based on plans and procedures set out. 3. Keep all grass and weeds cut short within the entire Tank Farm yard and pipelines easement. 4. Keep the toilet clean at all times 5. Keep the amenities clean at all times 6. Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned weekly. 7. Comply to all Health, Safety and Environment policies. 8. Work on tanker discharges when placed on duty Special Challenges: · To adapt quickly to the demands of the tank Farm and show an eagerness to maintain standard. · Maintain Housekeeping checklist · Report every suspicious activities and actions to the management immediately Note: Interested applicants are required to fill in an application form which is available from NUC Administration addressed to HR Recruitment Section.
