On Bill Mahars television show he was surrounded by a group of liberal celebrities, and he brought up the subject of Paul Ryans recent comments about inner city inhabitants that incited some left wing lunatics to characterize as being racists. Mahar then subsequently read the following quote that his panel guests quite naturally attributed to Ryan. “When it comes to getting an education, too many of our young people just can’t be bothered. They’re sitting on couches for hours playing video games, watching TV. Instead of dreaming of being a teacher or a lawyer or a business leader, they’re fantasizing about being a baller or a rapper. He then solicited his guests opinions. All of his guests save one found the above passage reprehensibly and obviously racist. The lone person defending Ryan was of course a level-headed Republican. Then Ryan pulled the plug on the bash Ryan party, informing the panel that the quote was actually made by Michelle Obama. Total absolute silence. Crestfallen guests. Bill Mahar then asked the question, Is something less true if a white person says it? One member of the panel, black comedian Kamau Bell made a failed recovery explaining that “she (Michelle Obama) was talking to black people — we talk to each other differently than we talk in front of you.” If thats Mr. Bells premise, it would naturally follow that Klan members might also be less complimentary toward blacks when speaking before a white audience. Is there anything else Democrats have in responding to tough questioning than to batter adversaries, even those asking them questions with the racist epithet. IMO, Americans who are not racists are sick and tired of being called racists when they are NOT.
