On Christmas, 5000 Christians and Muslims have been declared to convert to Hinduism. When the current Prime Minister of India, Modi, won election, we alerted you to his extremist roots (see post 8/21/14). The concern lay in the persecution of religious minorities by his mentor and political party. Now, 200 Muslims were just converted by many inducements. The converted will be registered to vote and receive food ration cards. Some were also promised of better living conditions and education for their children. The opposition party in parliament have cried foul play. However, the ruling BJP will not take this issue up because they argue that it is a state issue. On Christmas, let’s not forget our fellow believers in India.
