On Dec.18th, I stubbed my toe which bent all the way back. ( I know, gross isnt it.) Well, it was not healing at all since then. Im diabetic and was getting concerned. I ended up having it X-Rayed last week. Sure enough, the toe is broken. A foot brace was ordered which I got on Thursday. I wore it all day Saturday while running errands and was unaware that something inside the brace was rubbing my skin as I have loss of sensation in both legs. Once home, I discovered a 2 inch area on my leg that is completely raw. Even though I have applied an antibiotic ointment to the area the darn thing is already infected. One would think that my injections which I give to myself to treat MS would have spared me as the injections help protect the autoimmune system. So, such is life in a day as me. I have since laughed it all off.
