On December 1, 2009 - two weeks before my twins Rebecca and William were born - I signed up a credit repair client with a myriad of issues from bad credit card debt, collection accounts, foreclosures and short sales. So many issues that they all blended together over time... Throughout the credit repair process they were successful in refinancing their JP Morgan Chase first mortgage at a lower interest rate and cramming down their principal for a really great settlement on their second mortgage. Not screwing a single creditor but settling or satisfying with everyone, today their Experian score is 820, their Trans Union credit score is 815 and their Equifax score is 800. Throughout the last four-and-a-half years, I have come to appreciate hourly billing rather that a flat-rate or contingency type invoice for service. This client is the reason I changed up my billing process a couple of years ago... Time to close their case and wish the oldest file in its own file cabinet goodbye.
