On December 21st we lost a dear family friend, and we attended his memorial celebration last night. Some of you remember I had put off telling Logan about Mikes passing and I was concerned about how hed handle the party. I prepped him all day and felt like we were ready. He was overwhelmed upon arriving, shyly grinning and repeating the same few words to anyone attempting to engage him in conversation. He looked around, taking it all in. As the memories were shared I stood behind him, leaning forward a few times asking if he was ok. He said he was. After the party I asked him if he had fun. He said yes. I asked if he was missing Mike. He said yes. I asked if he looked at all of the pictures. He said yes. Fearing he was just yessing me to shut me up I asked him what his favorite part of the night was? Without hesitation he said pretty durls cute butts. Yea. Hes fine.
