On December 29th 2014 it’s open season on Free Agents we have $52,311,163. Cap Space here is what I think we should do with it and the following draft. First immediately renew all free agents NOT listed (All contracts should have 1/4 of contract reserved as production based bonuses with Catastrophic injury clause. Suggest player investment of catastrophic injury clause insurance policy to these and all future players available via LLyods of London). $16,000,000 estimated for renewal (the following are available to resign if position not filled with exception of Darren McFadden) McFadden RB, Brown WR, Ausberry TE, Holmes WR, Sheets RB, Thorpe CB, Leonhard TE, Asante S, Autry DE, Lumpkin DT, Atkinson RB, Filimoeatu ILB, Henry S, Dorsey DT, Newhall-Caballero QB, and Muhammad WR not eligible for immediate contract renewal. Leaving $36,311,163 Cap space Pursue following FA for following positions. Backup QB 2 year contract up to $4.5m per year starting with Vick (incentives includes fumble clause), Hasselbeck, Ponders, etc.. with $500,000 of contract as signing/moving bonus neg. (Schaubs guaranteed money is up this position will be paid from his contract as he sits at home and thus doesn’t effect cap) WR 2 year contract up to $5.25m per year starting with D Thomas, D Bryant, Crabtree, etc.. with $500,000 of contract as signing/moving bonus neg. ($31,061,163 Cap space) RB 2 year contract up to $4.5m per year starting with M. Lynch (must reneg. to new contract terms only available without trade to/from SEA), D Murray, M Ingram, etc.. with $500,000 of contract as signing/moving bonus neg. ($26,561,163 Cap Space) CB 2 year contract up to $4m per year starting with B Flowers, B Fletcher, T Brown, etc.. with $500,000 of contract as signing/moving bonus neg. ($22,561,163 Cap Space left) ALL FA pursuits can only claim players of caliber comparable to listed suggested FA or better in the event any or all FA positions cannot be filled we will resign appropriate FA’s from Raiders draging out till after draft if possible ($7m est to resign ALL FA’s not immediately resigned(including McDumbass) 13.75m cap space reserved for FA pursuit) Draft 2015 in order (*denotes player MOST likely received due too team pick placement of 5th and earliest overall placement predictions Via ESPN,CBS, etc..) first 4 rounds any pos. filled go to next pick 1st round *Amari Cooper WR, Randy Gregory DE, or Melvin Gordon RB. 2nd round Todd Gurley RB or *Nate Orchard DE. 3rd round Denzel Perryman MLB or *Arie Kouandjio OG (he got all the vowels), 4th round Charles Gaines CB or *Eric Kendricks MLB. 5th round Cody Riggs CB or *Jeff Heuerman TE. 6th round Jalston Fowler FB or *Ibraheim Campbell SS. 7th round Adam Shead or *Marcus Murphy RB (I dub thee M&M). This should take $11m high end to $8m low end of cap space per year ($11,561,163 Cap space left) Any/all cap space left should be used to reopen FA negotiations and/or trades to improve roster suggest reserve 1/3 of Cap space available before entering any negotiations to use as needed during season as 2015 we have $33,671,350 due to FA’s to move around as needed. I suggest we reserve $8m minimum of that for draft pool 2016
