On Eyewitness News at 6, Bibb County Sheriff David Davis spoke live about his firing of Deputy Clayton Sutton for insubordination. Davis said Sutton disobeyed an order not to have any contact with the public while a March shooting he was involved in was being investigated. As a city of Macon police officer, Sutton shot and killed Sammie Davis Jr. outside a Kroger back in December 2012. That shooting was later ruled justified.
