On February 1, RAW begins the process of selecting Artist of the Year for 2014 across nine different categories. Round one consists of the public nominating five artists from each category via online voting. Voting will last through February 7, during which time voters are allowed to cast their ballots once per day in each of the nine categories; the five artist with the most votes in each category will move on to round two. I have had the honor of being selected in the top five for both 2012 and 2013 and will again be in the running for Visual Artist of the Year for 2014. Over the past year, I have continued to advance my unique style of deep, rich color and high contrast by introducing new lighting techniques during photo sessions, and extending those principles into the display aspect using what I call my Anti-ShadowBox - A fine art frame using programmable hue lighting to produce mesmerizing morphing effects. The second prototype of my Anti-ShadowBox is nearly complete and will be one of the two new display techniques I will feature in RAW:GRANDEUR On March 4th.
