On Friday, 36 of our Cotton Creek runners competed in the Adams 12 Elementary School Cross Country meet at Northwest Open Space. 26 schools participated, 442 total runners ran one mile or one third of a mile. We kept team cross country scores, Cotton Creek finished in first for 4th grade boys & girls, as well as 5th grade girls. We placed 2nd in 5th grade boys. Here is how we placed: 4th grade- girls 2, 6, 9, 12, 19, 22, 29, 32 of 103 runners 4th boys- 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 26, 29, 30 of 118 runners 5th grade girls- 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15 of 97 runners 5th grade boys- 3, 8, 25, 29, 32, 38 of 114 runners Here are photos of the days events...5 former girls helped at our finish line, doing a wonderful job!
