On Friday April 19 at approximately 2351, Stations 7,8,9,10 Engine & Rescue 21, Engine 14, Engine and Ladder 12 and Station 30 for the RIT assignment were dispatched to a residential fire in the 400 block of Hudson Drive. NCC fireboard relayed they believed it would be a working fire based on caller statements. This added UD-1, Medic 3 and ALS28 to the dispatch. At approximately 2357 ALS 28 arrived on scene and reported fire showing from the second floor of the residence. Engine 95 took the first hydrant at Darwin Drive & Brewster Drive. Deputy 8 arrived on scene and establish command. SQRT 7 took the second hydrant from Medill and Darwin Drive. Units worked for approximately 53 minutes before the scene was placed under control at 0044 with units working. Command was terminated at 0222 and all units became available. During the incident a cover up was also initiated for Aetnas district. L-17, 23-6, 27-5 and Engine 15 provided fire coverage during the incident. A1 and A28 provided a BLS cover. Units on Scene: 8-2, 9-5, 10-5, S-7, R-8, L-9, D7, D8, 10-8B, 2-7, 3-6, 12-6, 14-3, 21-6, 30-6, L-12, R-16, A7,A8,A9, ALS16, ALS28, M3C, UD-1, FM21, Fire Police, New Castle County Police
