On Friday, August 9, Wells Fargo Bank held an Inland Empire homebuyer event at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Wells Fargo, in partnership with local elected officials and NeighborWorks America, awarded $4.8 million in down payment assistance grants through its CityLIFT program to eligible for first time homebuyers in the cities of Fontana, Riverside, San Bernardino, Moreno Valley and Corona. Cheryl Brown had the opportunity to meet a young man who received a grant from Wells Fargo in support of his upcoming move to San Bernardino. She commend all of those involved with the CityLIFT program for expanding affordable housing, providing valuable resources and building better communities within my District and other parts of the Inland Empire.
