On Friday I walked through the adoption room telling everyone good night and checking to make certain everyone had a toy and a blanket. I took these photos and did not have time to share them until now. Many of these sweethearts went home this weekend! That warmed my heart because it is hard to see them homeless. It is so wonderful that we have so many friends (thats you) :) who adopt, share their photos and spread the word about our rescue dogs and cats so that their stay with us is short. We take in about 100 new pets every month, obtained almost entirely from shelters where their destiny is very dim. They most often come in skinny, scared and sad. However, they quickly learn they are in a safe place with people who love them. And if you know us at all, you know we truly do. Our staff and volunteers are the best. We love each pet we bring in as a unique individual. We are so grateful to all of you for the donations of beds, toys and food and yes also funds to help us pay the bills. These pets are precious. They are given a second chance and are transformed into the joyful innocent souls they were born to be because of YOUR help. Thank you all so very much for helping them and sweet dreams. - Doreen
