On Friday, January 24, 2014, the Circuit Attorneys Office issued warrants for 2 counts of 1st Degree Murder and 2 counts of Armed Criminal Action against Deveis Sands, a 22-year old male of the the 3800 block of Ashland for the homicides of Justin & Devin Gordon. January 16, 2014 the Circuit Attorneys Office issued warrants for 2 counts of 1st Degree Murder, 2 counts of Armed Criminal Action and 1st Degree Burglary against Ryan Handson, a 20-year old male of the 4600 block of Steinlage Dr. for the double homicide listed below. The suspects booking photo is attached. Incident: Homicide Location: 4400 block of Elmbank Date/Time: 12/05/13 @ 14:10 Victim #1: Justin Gordon, 22-year old black male of the 4400 block of Elmbank Victim #2: Devin Gordon, 21-year old black male of the 4400 block of Elmbank Suspect(s): Unknown Officers responded to a call for a shooting with two victims at the above location. Upon arrival, officers observed Victim #1 unconscious on the floor of the residence. Victim #1 had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased on the scene. Victim #2 was located in the entry way of the residence suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. He was conveyed to a hospital and listed in critical/unstable condition. Victim #2 was pronounced deceased on 12/5/13 at around 19:05. The investigation is ongoing.
