On Friday the 17th of October 2014, 30 Climate Warriors from 12 Pacific nations made history by blocking the world’s largest coal port in Newcastle, Australia. Together we stopped 8 out of 12 ships scheduled to leave the port that day. Part 1 of this video - “Canoes Vs Coal” documented the Pacific Warriors’ journey on this highly successful day. On that day, we also managed to capture the voices & faces of passionate Australians who were also out in force to voice their climate concerns. This is their story.
