On Isoko Producing the next deputy Governor, #Mytake 1.Isoko mostly did not work for Okowa say for a few like Bashorun Askia,Iroro,The rest followed the governor say manner which they have been doing over the past years and threw all their votes to David Edevwie the Urhobo candidate on the instruction of the governor. 2.Politics is more like who work will chop,you cannot just jump from no where and reap where you did not sow,thats why Nuhu Ribadu could not get the PDP ticket at the instance of joining the party. 3.Isoko agitating for the deputy Governor is a little too late,the decision has already been made prior to Okowas emergence.Maybe if Obuh or Edevwie had won it would have been in our reach. 4.That James Manager is the senatorial representative of Delta South does not stop the Ijaws from getting the deputy,afterall the senatorial Form was on sale but nobody was willing to buy the form to contest with James Manager and Uduaghan,Thinking that Uduaghan will represent our interest,and since they have no say of their own,they have been deceived as ever not to indicate interest.Even till now we have not even seen any Opposition candidate buying the form from Isoko axis to slug it out with manager. Even form for governorship nobody buy,Na sidon look we dey.later would want to reap where we did not sow. Conclusively,yes for fairness and Equity isoko ought to be given the deputy Governor slot at least to those in the Isoko Axis that stood with Okowa to balance power,but am not sure just this hand full are real power brokers,I dont see them as been able to bargain strongly,since they are few their voice would also be low.This is why Isoko should stand firm and give room for opposition,I nor even know wetin PDP as a political party don do for Isoko,Also I will want the likes of Macauley,Joel Onowakpo,Solomon Ogba and the old order of Isoko politician to retire compulsorily from politics for selling us so cheaply for a plate of porridge,They have failed us and not fit to be called leaders.They have rendered us politically unstable due to their personal selfish interest.My joy is that We will suffer in the next dispensation but it may be a blessing in disguise as we will next time position ourselves to do the needful and do what is right.We will learn the hard way.For now the Ijaws should reap the benefit of their labour.Even IDU championing this course is not reliable.
