On January 15, members of Portland’s community of musicians join together in a concert to support KBOO. Featuring Satori Mens Chorus and guests singer/songwriter Mark Bosnian and bassist Rebecca Cohen and featured Artichoke musicians. Satori Men’s Chorus – “Men Singing Peace” – was founded in 1994 to offer men of all ages and musical backgrounds a community in which they could join their voices and grow as singers. Satori is directed by Susan Dorn. https://facebook/events/692473987532857/?ref=5 Mark Bosnian is an award-winning singer-songwriter, teacher, and performer who has appeared on stages around the world. He was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2001. He teaches vocal music to many Portland musicians, including members of Satori Men’s Chorus. He is joined tonight by Rebecca Cohen on bass. Doors open at 7pm. Music begins at 7:30. Tix are suggested $10-20 with no one turned away for lack of funds.
