On January 4th , Corporal Eric Brown and Ranger Mark Puig checked several duck hunters in Carroll county. Although they had harvested three mergansers, three ring necks, two buffleheads and one wood duck, the hunters had several violations each, including unplugged guns, no hunting licenses, and no federal duck stamps. The ducks were donated to the Carroll County Parks and Recreation Department to be used in a new facility promoting outdoor recreation.
