On January 8th Deputy responded to 8th Avenue in reference to a Burglary. The complainant Sharon Cole who is the daughter of the homeowner reported that when she came to the residence today she noticed that the front door glass had been broken and items had been stolen from the house. Stolen items include; a Television, HP computer, Oasis Laptop, Keyboards, convection oven, movie cameras, digital camera and audio recorder. At this time investigation is ongoing. On January 9th Deputies responded to Mineral Manor Way in reference to warrant service. Contact was made with both subjects who were then arrested on outstanding warrants. Daniel Matthew Linder age 41 of Mineral Manor Way for 8 counts of Worthless Checks and Priscilla Kay Blevins age 29 of Mineral Manor Way for warrant issued out of Fayette County on charges of Fail to Appear, both were transported to the Wood County Holding Center where Blevins was placed and Linder was released on a $500.00 bond. On January 9th Jennifer Dawn McGrew age 27 of College Parkway was arrested on outstanding warrant issued through the West Virginia State Police for charges of Petit Larceny, she was processed and taken before Magistrate at which time she was released on a $2,000.00 PR bond. On January 9th Donna Marie Moutry age 29 of Beverly Street was taken into custody at the residence on five outstanding warrants for Unemployment Violations. She was processed at the Holding Center and then taken before Magistrate where she was released on a $500.00 PR bond. On January 9th Deputy responded to Kohl’s Department Store in reference to a shoplifter in custody and another one sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Once Deputy arrived contact was made with the subject in the vehicle and escorted to the Loss Prevention office where the other subject was being held. Items were recovered from the vehicle which had been taken from the store and also from a purse. Citation issued to Sabrina Forest Henderson age 30 of Latrobe Street for Shoplifting items taken valued $230.00. Juvenile Citation issued to a 17 year old female of Madison Avenue for shoplifting items taken by her valued $74.00 she was turned over to the custody of her father. On January 9th Citation issued to Sean M. McKitrick age 19 of Bender Road, Marietta Ohio for No Registration and No Insurance. On January 9th Citation issued to Melissa L. Shroyer age 27 of Camden Avenue for Driving on Suspended. On January 9th Nicholas Raymond Bowersock age 23 of Gihon Road turned himself in on outstanding warrant for Child Neglect. He was processed and arraigned before Magistrate where he was released on a $5,000.00 PR bond. On January 10th Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Homewood Road. Deputy observed that the vehicle had slid on the icy road and struck railroad ties used as a border to a driveway on Homewood Road with the vehicle becoming stuck. Deputies could not located the driver and a hold was placed on the vehicle. The driver, later in the evening, contacted Deputy and Citation was issued to Corbin D. Parson age 19 of 8th Avenue for Leaving the Scene and No Insurance. On January 10th Citation was issued to Christopher Paul Ward age 48 of South Park Villa for Driving on Suspended 2nd offense. On January 10th traffic stop conducted on vehicle and upon contact with the driver a local check showed suspension of license. Donald Joseph Wilson age 28 of Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells was arrested on charges of Driving on Suspended 3rd offense. On January 10th traffic stop conducted on vehicle after it was observed to have an altered Registration. Deputy removed the Registration from the vehicle and upon further inspection it was found to have a hand written 2015 as well as a handwritten WV on it. Aaron Jay Gard age 37 of Champion School Road, Belleville was arrested on charges of Altered Registration. On January 10th traffic stop conduced on vehicle after Deputy observed the Registration to be expired. Upon speaking with the driver the Deputy believed he smelled the odor of burned Marijuana, when he asked the driver if any illegal narcotics were inside the vehicle he advised that he had smoke earlier. Deputy then deployed his K-9 partner for exterior sniff of the vehicle, at which time the K-9 indicated on the passenger side door area. A search of the vehicle produced a glass container with a green vegetative substance suspected to be Marijuana and a small Marijuana smoking device bowl. Citation issued to Codi Alan Gibbs age 24 of Ridgeway Avenue for Possession of less than 15 grams Marijuana and Expired Registration. On January 11th traffic stop conducted on vehicle after Deputy observed the vehicle to have no illuminated tail lights. Citation was issued to Heather Dawn Mossor age 37 of Waverly for No tail lamps. On January 11th Citation issued to Jonathan Paul Vingino age 34 of Wildwood Drive for No Proof Insurance and Failure to Signal.
