On Jet sales and proceeds: ( Malawi Defense Force Allocation) The member states to the UN peace keeping mission are responsible to pay for any other expense incurred by their Peace Keeping Force. Such expenses are reimbursed back to the member state ( in this case, Malawi) at a later date by the United Nations. It is true that the Malawi government used part of the proceeds from Jet sale to purchase Arms for its peace keeping mission to DRC, but the monies will be reimbursed back to Malawi at a later date.
