On July 13 1997 I was sitting at the computer at my parents home. when I heard screams from a 10 year old boy that was being mauled by a pit bull in the neighbors back yard.. I knew by his screams this kid was in trouble. When I looked over the fence I saw a pit bull dragging this kid all around the back yard he was screaming hes killing me.. I jumped on the wall to help this kid when I was just about over the wall their other dog a Rottweiler bite me on the leg .when the kid and I made eye contact he was relived to see I was coming to help. when he saw that I was not jumping into the yard I can never forget the look on his face and he started screaming again. I went to my truck and grabbed my hammers I use for work.. when I came back to the wall with a chair I saw the dog now had the boy by the shoulder he was in for a fight for his life I threw my hammer at the dog the chair broke at the same time. it was a bad throw by some miracle the head of the hammer hit the ground and the wooden part spun round and hit the dog in the face. the dog stop biting the kid and looked at me.. this gave the kid enough time to get over the wall to safety the chief of azusa police department gave me a letter of thanks for taking action that day. On Wednesday July 24 2013 my wife was not breathing when I woke up. when I saved the boy from the dog I never lost focus of what I had to do. I knew what to do for my wife but this is different I was like a fish out of water lost all since of what to do. I started CPR the 911 operator said to put her on a hard surface I did this and continue to breath for hear but nothing was happening. that’s when Azusa police officer Mike Bires and his partner took my wife’s life into there hands they had to shock her heart back into a normal rhythm then they rushed her to the hospital were she is alive and doing well. I want to give these two officers a letter of thanks like I received from the chief of the Azusa police department. It ment lot to me.. I know im not a chief of police but I really want these two guys to know how many people are thankful my wife is still here so my face book friends lets tell them how glad we are that she is still alive thanks
