On July 31st, 2010, Shades of Grey: Tattoos, Toys, Comics, Art Gallery officially opened its doors for business. And its been a helluva four years! To say the least! For all the blood, sweat and tears, its been worth it. I get to go to an amazing space everyday and be surrounded by my favourite things and favourite people. Opening the shop has lead to amazing things and has brought some incredibly important people into my life. So many to thank...starting with the amazing team we currently have... Amy Bliska, Mary Madness, Teddy Kardos, Jon Tron, Ollie and Lisa Jones. And I would remiss if i didnt recognize Wayde Dunn as he was instrumental in the shops success in our formative years and ill be forever grateful for that time. Big thanks to our regular guest artists Bryan J. Turnbull, Paul Humphreys and Heather Maranda for joining us as often as you do! I wish you could work with us every day! Im also so glad to also share the space with one of my best friends, Curtis Comeau. Many heartfelt thanks everyone else who has been a part of the shop in one shape or another, long term or short...you know who you are. As great a ride as its been, i promise, the best is yet to come. :)
