On July 6th 1974 at Detroits Tiger Dick Stadium, Dick Allen hit a ball that was still going in an upward flight before hitting the façade. Baseball Historian and well respected Home Run Expert Bill Jenkinson claims that it may have went as far 700 ft. He says that most likely people witnessed an optical illusion because to travel such a distance the ball would have to be hit with Superhuman Velocity. Just the fact that the number of an estimated distance of 700 ft. is mind boggling. Maybe Dick Allen was Superhuman ?
