On July 7, 1999, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who came out screaming (not crying). Once she was all cleaned up and checked out, the nurse brought her back to us. After about an hour of non-stop crying, her dad and I look at each other like ... Whos going to be the first to buzz the nurses station!!! We had a lot of sleepless nights with Brittany Blackmon as a baby! When she was a toddler, she was quite the Tomboy! She kept us on our toes!! TODAY .... Brittany is a healthy, beautiful, smart, and super funny young lady; well on her way to doing extraordinary things! She brings joy to all of those around. I thank God (daily) for sparing her life in 2011 after she suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and a stroke! He, indeed, has something GREAT in store for her.
