On March 1st, 2008 our family lost someone amazing and so loved. We will never get over the pain of that loss! But Kiana was just about 2 at that time and she went daily to visit her uncle while he was still in the hospital. When we had his funeral Debby organized the kids to write a letter and theyd put it in a balloon and send it to him. About 3 weeks ago or more now we were leaving the school here in Mackenzie when a child lost his/her balloon and Kiana was watching the balloon from the back seat of the truck and said, remember when we wrote a letter to Uncle Troy, and we sent it to him in a balloon? I want to do that again! How she remembered that is beyond me. Heres her pictures with the balloon and after she let it go!
