On March 24th, 2014, a Town of Rome resident was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office for grand larceny and conspiracy 5th. Deputy Davy responded to Oneida County Correctional Facility, to take David J. Tennant into custody for an active arrest warrant out of the Town of Norwich Court, stemming from an incident that occurred at Walmart in Norwich, NY. Tennant was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court, and remanded Tennant to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $2,000 cash bail. Tennant is to reappear in the Town of Norwich Court at a later date to answer to charges of grand larceny and conspiracy 5th. Arrested: David J. Tennant, age 36, Town of Rome, NY. Charges – Grand Larceny and Conspiracy 5th. All crimes described in this press release are allegations, and suspects named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
