On March 6, we began the journey to reduce clutter and seek serenity through order. We began the journey sitting on an old upside down pond, roasting hot dogs with Sparks and Jan -- out in the west end garden. Interestingly enough, I drug that pond out of the field a few days ago. Yesterday, I asked Joe if we should throw it away or offer it for sale for a few bucks. It has several holes. Joe thought someone might want it for a raised bed/ planter -- which would be better than putting it in a land fill. In a matter of minutes, someone came and bought the pond. They had rescued 4 baby beavers, could plug the holes and provide a habitat for the babies. And so it has been with every decision, every piece of stuff. Could someone use it? Or not. Were still working at it, but so far -- weve reduced clutter and put 4 good new tires on our truck. The very hardest part? Getting started.
