On May 11, 2006, I lost my sister Judy. It is also doubly sad since today, the 8th Anniversary of her passing has fallen on Mothers Day. Judy was the first member of our family to pass. She fought Ovarian Cancer for 7 years. She went through a 5 year period cancer free until it came back with a vengeance the following year. Mom and Dad had to endure the pain of losing a child which no parent should ever go through. They were in pain the rest of their lives hiding it well only on occasion showing their emotions. However, life goes on. I and my faith only hope they are all together now awaiting my arrival one day. God is great but he can be cruel.
