On May 22, 2014 at 2:44 a.m., Longview Police were dispatched to a vehicle burglary in progress in the 2500 Block of N. Eastman Rd. When officers arrived they noticed a silver Nissan Altima, with what was at the time believed to be 3 suspects, leaving the scene. Police pursued the vehicle south on Eastman Road and onto I-20 Eastbound. The pursuit continued into Shreveport, Louisiana where the suspects jumped from the vehicle and were apprehended. One suspect is currently in the Shreveport City jail and the other was transported to University Hospital on Kings Highway in Shreveport for a medical problem. Once the pursuit ended police were able to determine that what they thought was a third suspect in the back seat of the suspects vehicle was actually a large item that was stolen from one of the victims vehicles. **LPD would like to thank those other law enforcement agencies who assisted us in this pursuit.
