On May 22nd we are hosting The Extended Senses Lab in cooperation with DEAF, Dutch Electronic Art Festival. Are you a media artist or creative technologist and are you working with the human body, human senses, wearables or sensor technology? For this workshop, presented by Tomasz Jaskiewicz as part of Coded Matter(s) 7 The Extended Senses, we invite all of you to apply for participation! Just to be clear: this won’t be a day of coding or soldering and it won’t be about sci-fi futurology: we’re talking hands-on designing and developing ideas based on current real-world situations, leading to immediately viable concepts within a game structure. The outcome of the lab session will consist of short presentations of a scenario, concept or prototype and the motivation to create it.
