On May 26, 2014 at approximately 5:25 PM, Mount Union Police arrested David Babcock, 22, Mount Union, on an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the Huntingdon County Probation Department. On May 26, 2014 at approximately 7:51 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a minor crash in the parking lot of an East Shirley Street business. The owners of the vehicles exchanged information at the scene. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 7:02 AM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on Federal Drive. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 12:03 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the Mount Union Fire Company and mutual-aid companies with a structure fire on West Pennsylvania Avenue. A cooperative investigation is being conducted by the Mount Union Police Department along with the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall. The investigation is ongoing. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 1:46 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on South Park Street. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 4:12 PM, Mount Union Police assisted the Pennsylvania State Police with an incident on Second Street, Allenport. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 5:00 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on South Division Street. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 7:42 PM, Mount Union Police responded to a commercial burglary alarm on North Division Street. The alarm was found to be falsely activated. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 7:58 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on West Maxwell Street. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 9:11 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of disorderly conduct on East Market Street. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 10:40 PM, Mount Union Police investigated the report of a theft of a red Hewlett-Packard laptop computer from a West Water Street residence. On May 27, 2014 at approximately 10:57 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on East Market Street. On May 28, 2014 at approximately 5:48 PM, Mount Union Police responded to a domestic disturbance on North Division Street. The incident was determined to be verbal in nature, and the persons involved were warned.
