On May 27th, after 15 years and 93 days working at Amazon, Im leaving to work for an even older Internet company... IMDb - the Internet Movie (and TV) Database. Its an Amazon subsidiary located on the same SLU campus, so my commute wont change... but its gonna be very strange to sit in a WBR and not discuss OPS and CP and ASINs. Perhaps the best way to describe what Ill be doing is to quote Lloyd Dobler - John Cusacks character in Say Anything (a movie I finally saw a few weeks ago): I dont want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. I dont want to sell anything bought or processed, buy anything sold or processed, or... process anything bought or sold, or repair anything bought, sold or processed. Yknow, as a career, I dont wanna do that.
