On May 29th, my 11 year old, oldest daughter, Skylar, will travel to China with 14 other schoolmates to sharpen their Mandarin skills which Skylars been developing since kindergarten. This is a 4 week, full Mandarin immersion trip to Nanjing University, about an hour train ride outside of Shanghai. Cheryl and I are very proud of her and feel very confident that we have instilled in her all of lifes important lessons that our parents have passed to us. We pray that she enjoys yourself, represents our family well and has a safe return. We also ask that all our friends and family keep Skylar in your prayers and thoughts during her trip.
