On Monday 1/5/15 Willie Wilson will give his mayoral campaign ONE MILLION DOLLARS. At least one other candidate claimed he would have that kind of $$ but to date it is just that - a claim. BUT what I want to get your thoughts on is whether my media colleagues are getting it right A LOT OF ink and air time is given to HOW MUCH $$ candidates have almost to the expense of what the individual is about/stands for. Do contributions like these impact the publics willingness to support a particular candidate?? Of course money is the lifeblood of politics but the news media should delve deeper-shouldnt it?? btw/super impressed that WW is truly making a run of it, dont be surprised if he has to pour another million into it.
