On Monday, December 1, Council will be discussing parking in the King Street area during their regular Discussion Session. The focus of the conversation will be on the Town’s Parking By-law, metering and enforcement. Other topics on the agenda for the meeting: A presentation from Dalhousie Graduate students about their research on plastic bag regulation options and, Council will be discussing the potential impact on municipalities from the provinces recent fiscal review. Meetings begin at 6:00pm and are held in the Committee Room of Town Hall (60 Pleasant Street). This meeting is open to the public and anyone with an interest in these topics is invited to attend.
