On Monday FedEx delivered the third (of six) batch of galley proofs for V6 of the HoC: a stack of 11 x 17 sheets about an inch thick. In the Ls today and almost halfway through the stack. Tedious but satisfying--one learns a lot editing a million-word encyclopedia. Recent treats included Labeling Techniques (by Karen Cook), Typography and Map Design (by Alex Tait), and Law of the Sea (by David Lawrence). 😀
