On Monday, September 8th Lowery Restoration started work on Dr. Polks house. They are in the process of stabalizing the foundation by adding piers and a new beam. This will allow them to Mothball the house for future preservation. During this process they will complete the foundation work stabalize the back wall, cover it with plywood, wrap it and secure the house. They will also remove broken shingles on the roof and reroof the missing sections which will further secure the building from the elements.
