On Monday morning November 10, 2014, a Millbrook Road resident was walking his dog when a speeding vehicle drove by. The pedestrian yelled for the driver to slow down. The driver turned around and the two engaged in an argument. The driver of the vehicle retrieved an electronic defense weapon and pointed it at the man who was walking his dog. The driver then “sparked” the weapon in a threatening manner before driving away. North Haven Police responded and identified the driver of the vehicle as 30-year-old Anthony Buemi who is also a North Haven resident. He was arrested and charged with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Criminal Use of an Electronic Defense Weapon, and Possessing a Weapon in a Motor Vehicle. Buemi was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
