On Monday, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) published What We Know: The Reality, Risks and Response to Climate Change, a comprehensive 20-page report that kicks off an effort by the scientific community to make climate change easier for the public to accept and understand. As you can see in the reports title, the AAAS, one of the largest and most influential independent scientific organizations in the world, has identified the three Rs of climate change: Reality, Risk and Response. The AAAS has also assembled a panel of 13 leading scientists to make public presentations and help fight the widespread disinformation campaigns about why the planets climate is changing and what steps we can still take to mitigate disaster. You can read more at Grist.org, or at NYTimes.
