On New Years Eve, it is tradition to look back and review where we have been so we can get a handle on where we might be going from here. As we come to the end of 2014, Americas July 2 1776 Liberty Chart is rapidly approaching its P2 conjunction of Midheaven to North Node. This happens in 2015 and 2016 (depending on whether you track the mean Node or the true Node). Its first exact hit is coming up quick, in February 2015, and its second hit arrives in May. This influence has the effect of temporarily making America extremely unpopular both domestically and internationally, negatively affecting Americas reputation. It will distribute this anti-American bias throughout the entire authority spectrum, making the nation unpopular, the President unpopular, all the various levels of American national and local government unpopular, the army unpopular, and the police unpopular. As we are seeing today, in spades. I remain concerned, but uncertain, if it will also extend that unpopularity to US currency as well. If so, any devaluation of US currency that is going to happen anytime soon should occur during this Node-MH conjunction in 2015-2016. If we get past 2016 without an economic crash or a currency devaluation, the potential for such developments substantially reduces after that, IMO. But in the midst of all this rampant anti-American sentiment, and especially on New Years Eve, it is wise to recall the big picture. Yes, America does have its darknesses and demons to overcome, but we will do so, as we have always done, as we always will do. Despite those formidable weaknesses, America is still the richest and most powerful nation in human history, by many orders of magnitude. We are so powerful that we can now humble our enemies without firing a single shot, as Iran and Russia reflect today. Astrologically speaking, Americas wealth and prosperity come from the Sun-Jupiter-Venus triple conjunction in the US Liberty Chart (comparable to the Saudis Sun-Jupiter in their own chart, which has also granted them wealth), but our TRUE power comes instead from the Moon-Pluto conjunction in that chart (comparable to Israels Moon-Pluto, which has also granted them power). Thanks to the US Moon-Pluto conjunction, America has a long history of confronting its own worst fears, its own darknesses and demons and shortcomings, and always overcoming them in the long run, in a cyclic death-and-rebirth pattern that appears again and again in American history, just as that Moon-Pluto conjunction would predict. When the Soviet Empire collapsed, that vacuum of power in the world threw America off-balance, forcing it into a position or authority it was unprepared for, suddenly becoming the worlds only remaining superpower, and its response to that unprecedented challenge has, yes we all agree, left something to be desired. Americas sudden elevation to worlds dominant superpower status in 1991 nurtured 24 years of waste and corruption. But this darkness too we will confront and overcome, going through yet another death-and-rebirth cycle, to emerge even stronger than before. By 2024.
