On November 10th, 2013... only two days after we decided to date. Amanda and I wrote this together. A sort of Couples Mission Statement... It will hang in the dining room of our soon-to-be apartment to remind us to fight for its truth. Amanda Marie... I love you. Thanks for the idea to write this on day two... it has made all the difference having that base in a truly loving and supportive relationship. We will be a couple built on a firm foundation of Jesus Christ, making Him the center of all our decisions and actions together. We will remain incredibly consistent at leading each other back to Christ, and allowing Him to be the one sewing our hearts together. We will pray together, grow together, and stand firm together in teamwork so nothing can break us, and no emergency will ever be big enough for an exit. As best friends, we will be compassionate, encouraging, and supportive towards one another, as well as holding each other accountable and seeking wise counsel from others. We will live simply, joyfully, honestly, creating less of us and more of Him. As a couple we will seek to do ministry together and through it be selfless for ourselves and for others. This is our promise to hold together. ...Only 1 More Day. :)
