On November 17th, 2014, Teddy was rushed to Alton Rd animal hospital after he was reportedly thrown from a moving vehicle that was traveling westbound on the Julia Tutlle Causeway. Teddy was pulled off of the roadway because he was unable to walk and had to be carried off the roadway. Once Teddy was safely moved out of the roadway he was taken to Alton Rd animal hospital, 1828 Alton Rd, Miami a Beach, Fl. 33140 When I got Teddy, I had no money to provide the much needed emergency care he needed and sending him to Miami Dade animal services was not an option, as he would be instantly euthanized there. Thankfully one of the Good Samaritans paid the first $500.00 towards his $1,100 emergency vet bill so that he could at least get his X-rays done and be made comfortable overnight. I was initially able to raise the remaining $600.00 to finish paying off the emergency vet bill but then the first fundraiser went cold shortly thereafter. Teddy needed orthopedic surgery ASAP but it was going it cost $2,000 for the surgery alone. I took a chance hoping donations would come in and signed off on his surgery making myself responsible for the payments should donations fail to come in. Teddy was uncomfortable and ideally surgery needed to be done ASAP. Well, sadly I still have the $2,000 surgery bill pending and I really need everyones help. Thankfully Teddy is doing very well now, but hes still recovering. I receive dozens of calls for help with injured animals and sadly I cant continue to help if the vet bills arent paid off. Please help me by sharing Teddys story and sending whatever donation you can. Paying off Teddys vet bill will allow me to keep helping more animals in need.
