On November 19th, I met for coffee with Jordan Ehrlich to discuss his interest in helping me shoot my short film, which is very personal and dear to my heart. Because of scheduling issues we had only 3 weeks and a day to put it all together... and Holy Shitzus baby we did it. Within three days we had most of the talented cast jump on board, Ashley St. George, Kristina Mitchell, Danny Belrose, Greg Winter. But I was missing a key character yet... so Corey Craig suggested Pat Lentz- wonderful cast now complete! Then we made the very smart decision to bring on Dan Hooker to help organize the whole thing. After reaching out to Trevor Trout- he handed us the amazing Howie Askins. Then I had coffee with my ladies, Amy Goddard and Jeanne Taylor. Jeanne strongly suggested Laurie Hallak and I am so glad I listened. I had to ask my music savvy non related cousin Steve Maviano to do music & edit for sure! A gift was given to our film by Michael Barnett and a few ads later- we had our fabulous team, Daniel Doody, Renee Pilon, Don Abernathy, Matt Vieira & Alec Gibbons. My loving husband Jon Wellner was so supportive and helped out in every which way he could - bless his heart. Even my mother in law, Linda Wellner came to assist him. This film means the world to me. I wrote it at a very raw moment in my life and after finding out the true meaning behind this story, this group of artists and visionaries grew stronger and closer. All of a sudden they wanted this film just as much as I did...do. And I felt the unity and support... Those band of brothers and glories girls just take my breath away. From the bottom of my heart... thank you. It means everything to me that you were here and part of 7 Days In November. (Yes, please LIKE now!) Watch for where this all goes next- very exciting!
