On November 8, 2014, a very special group of Loretto Lovelies joined together for a great celebration! The Loretto High School, Sacramento, Class of 1969 attended their 45th Year Reunion at Cafe Vinoteca on Fair Oaks Blvd & Watt Ave. All the photos shared on Facebook prove the wonderful turnout! Many thanks to Sheila Coonley Nolan and her committee for all the time spent to organize this wonderful event! Please continue to share your photos with us! I have a special place in my heart for this class as they welcomed me and my Class of 1972 mates to step on Senior Lawn as lowly Frosh! My Big Sister, Jan Hansen Scully taught me that I was an important drop of water in all of Nature! That spring, many members of the Senior class starred in the LHS annual Senior Play, The Sound of Music, co-directed by Sister Maria Bierer and Mrs. Ellen Baltezore. In the Summer of 1969, the select group of Seniors who portrayed the Nuns Choir in our play went on to perform at The Music Circus with the theatrical touring company during its run of The Sound of Music in Sacramento!!!
